When you imagine an apple or a lemon, what shape do you envision? Symmetrical perhaps? Rounded edges? It's become a norm in America to see those pretty array of fruits at our local markets, more or less the same shape. But did you know that that isn't normal? Because markets recognize that people are more drawn to "pretty" fruits, they only stock the aesthetically pleasing ones for our benefit. What happens to those poor, unloved fruits?
